Author's Panel Tips and Tricks

1. Present, Don't Read
There will be a reading period before the panel, so you don't need to cover every detail in your presentation. Instead, try to present your resolution with energy and by elaborating on essential parts.

2. Focus on the main ideas, unique solutions, and nuances.
Make sure to highlight your resolution's most important clauses, the clauses which set your work apart, and anything that requires further explanation.

3. Remember the Q&A.
As you prepare for and deliver your presentation, plan for sufficient Q&A time. Although presenting your own material is useful, Q&A allows delegates to ask about specific clauses or solutions, which is often more productive in facilitating the passage of a resolution.
