Forms of Delegation
Different Forms of Delegation
1. Single delegation, representing countries
2. Single delegation, representing individual characters
3. Double delegation, representing countries
Single representing country
The most traditional type of delegation. Make sure you research your country's
basic information (geography, economy, political structure, foreign policies) as well as your country's position on the committee topic(s). Enacted policies are a good source of information.
Single representing character
While this form of delegation is common for crisis committees, GA-style committees may also adopt this delegation format.
Double representing country
Some committees may use double delegation where usually a country will be represented by two people. In some conferences, performance is evaluated on a team basis, not individually.
