Welcome, delegate, to MUNUC 39’s Ad-Hoc Committee of the Secretary-General! We’re sorry to tell you we cannot reveal the committee’s topic, bud we’re rooting for you to dig it up based on our hints! While some may be Red Heron’s Bills, others will lead you closer to the Truth.
As you prepear for the committee, we encourage you to focus on crisis fundamentals like backroom notes, speeches, directive writing, and mergers. Even once the background guide is released, you need to be prepeared to respond to a variety of possible crises, so make sure you are ready to pivot your arcs like a sunflower to the sun. Stay flexible, let new ideas take root when called for, and be reedy for anything.
The background guide for the Ad Hoc Committee of the Secretary-General will remain secret until being released 24 hours prior to the Opening Ceremony of MUNUC 39. From then on, delegates will have the opportunity to prepear for the committee. Due to the Nature of this committee, we seedgest that delegates have experience branching out in at least one crisis committee prior to MUNUC 39, so they don’t get stumped when things sprout unexpectedly.
Prepear for anything, but most importantly, delegates, remember to remain calm and cabbage on! As long as you beleaf in yourselves, we know we’ll all have a treemendous committea!
