The Executive Committee

Secretary-General

Ms. Chritina Gao (she/her)

Ms. Chritina Gao (she/her)

Chritina is a fourth year majoring in Economics and Public Policy. Originally from New York City, she often assumes that you can quite literally walk anywhere—no matter where you are, and is often proven wrong. Prior to serving as Secretary-General of MUNUC 37, she was the USG of Continuous Crisis Committees at MUNUC 36, the Chair of the Democratization of Chile committee in MUNUC 35, and an AC on Cabinet of José Batlle y Ordoñez in MUNUC 34. Besides MUNUC, she is involved in ChoMUN, plans large scale events for the university community with COUP, and works at the Center for Leadership and Involvement. When she isn’t listening to the same three artists over and over (Harry, Hozier, and Noah), you can find her baking an obnoxious amount of desserts, taking long walks up Lakeshore Drive, or on a picnic blanket on the Quad with her friends (when weather permits).

Ms. Cissy Choy (she/her)

Cissy Choy is a fourth year student majoring in Creative Writing and Data Science. Outside of MUNUC, Cissy is also active in UChicago collegiate MUN conference ChoMUN, where she served as a Crisis Director at the most recent ChoMUN XXVII. Outside of MUN, Cissy is active within UChicago’s Writing Workshop, Center for Leadership and Involvement, and Data Science department. In her free time, she is jotting down her sixtieth unfinished short story idea, (poorly) playing the piano, and trying to bake without a recipe then complaining when she fails.
